Anna Vanosi
Singer Actor Writer
Welcome to my world!
Here you'll find everything about who I am, what I love, how I started in the performing arts, and what I’m up to now.
Music has been my first love since childhood, and I discovered theatre as a teenager in high school.
Today, I work as a singer, actor, and writer — always striving to create, connect, and grow as an artist.
This is my passion. This is my path.

About
Late Bloomers' Tales
My show Late Bloomers’ Tales received fantastic feedback throughout its 2019–2023 run.
A cabaret-style piece written and performed by me, it combines live music, storytelling, acting, and a spoken-word poem to explore what it means to feel forever out of sync with time—always chasing it, yet determined to bloom on one’s own terms.

Singer | Songwriter | Performer
Music has always been my way of connecting with people.
While I sing across many genres, I’m especially drawn to jazz, blues, soul, and pop. I’ve performed in renowned venues in Edinburgh and Milan, and on unique stages like the Italian Awards and Irn Blues Festival in Glasgow.
One of my most personal projects is Italian Jazz Affair, created with pianist and arranger David Patrick, which blends classic Italian songs with the Great American songbook.
During lockdown, I was in Italy, performing with Radio Kings Band and beginning to write my own music — a turning point that deepened my creative voice. I now front Velvet, a Neo-soul band focused on original material, and perform also for a function band called Woohoo Band all over Scotland.
My next step is to release an album of original songs, fusing the sounds and stories that continue to shape me.

Stories That Matter
I’m a graduate actor (Acting for Stage and Screen, Napier University) and writer, passionate about creating work that tells personal stories and sparks meaningful dialogue with audiences. Since 2018, I’ve written and performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, starting with Don’t Follow Me: My Misguided Tour, followed by Late Bloomers’ Tales in 2019.
I’m currently developing a new piece about mental health — a subject close to my heart. Through this project, I hope to raise awareness, challenge stigma, and offer space for connection and reflection. I’m actively looking for collaborators interested in creating new writing that speaks honestly and creatively about mental health, and that can make a real impact through live performance.
